Saddam was executed

On the Eid ul-Adha day, Saddam Hussein, whose name means ‘the one who confronts’, was the capital punishment imposed, which was commonly used by himself to suppress political dissents. The whole scene showed on TV was like those terror video with hoody men in a nasty place but also a weird joyful music in the background(iraqi tv’s version)… The fear was missing on his face, surprisingly.

“It is an important milestone on Iraq’s course to becoming a democracy that can govern, sustain, and defend itself…”

—-US President George W Bush

Apparently, most of the people who have their eyes and brains don’t believe this.

Here to see more reactions all over the world. Just mention the following one:

Libyan state media describes Saddam Hussein as a “prisoner of war” and declares three days of national mourning over his execution.

Anyway, it turns a new page in the history, that is it.

PS: From Wikipedia:

“Eid ul-Adha is celebrated by Muslims worldwide as a commemoration of Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son Ismael for Allah.”
